She picks up the shattered glass, wondering where she's at
She senses something strange, but its pitch black
Its cold and dark, no light to see, all alone
The room is circular, like a dome
She feels the hairs rise on the back of her neck
It feels as though she's been kissed, but something pierced her flesh
Lost in the oblivion of uncertanty
Too many times she has awaken from this dream
Never understanding a place reality has never seen

I like it. I have a taste for dark poetry. Even write some myslef. I can sense her pain, her longing to understand reality and what's it all about. very vivid poem, I think. Great job! |
