TROUBLED MIND MEETS DAMANGED HEART

Contributed by brokenwings on Saturday, 2nd April 2005 @ 12:55:06 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

your troubled mind
and my damanged heart
one night magically combined
and in time completely fell apart...

we never made promises tooo
hard for us to keep
my heart fell so deeply into you
that i am now haunted when I sleep

all the things i should have said
now form a chain of regret
dancin in my head
you pray that i will forget

FORGET YOU???? WHE? HOW? NEVER!!!!
I gave you my damaged heart
deep down my head knew us together
forever would be a battle

But I reach for you tonight
for the one thing not in your troubled mind
was to fight out of love
or to ever be unkind

For i now see that
after all is said and done
This damaged heart
was blessed
by your
troubled mind.....

you write with so much depth into you're poems.
It's sad and yet you know how to make a reader feel you're pain.

Well done.
Jane
