I'm everything you hate
I tried to change my ways
I stopped drinking
I put down the knife
The killings stopped
I'm everything you don't want
Driven to the back of my mind
Pushed against the walls I've built
Unable to breathe
I must kill again
I must feel the padded grip of my blade
Hear the slicing of your flesh
To smell the warmth of your blood
To see the look in your eyes when you realize it was me
You pushed me to far
This is the knife that killed you
Look at it, before you fade to black

| Hate is a very powerful word. Your poem was a very powerful reminder of what goes on in many people's minds. I hope this is not a fact because life has more to offer if you would just look at things in a different light. All is not lost. I can't promise you greatness, but I can promise you this; if you look for goodness, it is there if you just open yourself to new options. Great write ~ I felt the pain. |

This is such a honest , intense and dark poem. Good write, I hope things well get better for you. Dont forget there is always hope and another path to venture down.
