Degraded Effort

Contributed by ForeverAlone on Friday, 1st April 2005 @ 10:19:38 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Dergraded effort
As the wounds start to hurt

Baring the soul inside
Hearing the screams cried

The cold metal
Without a score to settle

As I plead for an encore
The blood and pain I want more

Everytime I ease the pain
There comes more for me to sustain

Along with the forever scars
Like the home I subside in, but of bars

They are my past
And forever they will last

You say I am the only one
That has created my burden

But its really your fault
Because you're the one who took my wounds
And added the salt!

oh, very nice indeed. reminds me of chevelle and my favorite song by them. "god, the listless sea...the salt enters the wound" im glad that i saw this one, makes me think that this is even better than the cowrite. =] but the way were working on it, the cowrite will never be finished!
