I wish I stayed asleep today
When I woke up in this place
I feel that my heart is empty
I have no love and I have no face

Rain has overstayed its welcome
I long for blue and light again
I cannot stand the darkened rooms
I only want this time to end

Lightbulbs cannot replace the sun
Nothing cannot replace something
My bed cannot replace my feet
Alone cannot replace loving
