Wouldn’t you hate to be immortal living eternally like the moon?
Walking endlessly across this world over death you would croon
It’s my sudden awakening that I shan’t live forever
Not in this life anyway emancipation is my greatest endeavor
For I don’t think I am strong enough to shrug it all off and deal
With getting shot down and being robbed of joy by ones who do not feel
It’s not that I would like to die but sometimes I can’t handle this pain
So I better not be reborn I could not battle through this all again
No I don’t think dying is sad not when you’re alone and it’s your time
Maybe it’s a true blessing a gem in the end we are destined to find
For now though I’ll have faith in God that he may bring in a new world of peace
Because we can’t live forever in this cruel world our groaning we want to cease

Good write. If only the world could find a way for peace and stop the cries of the innocent.
Peace, that what we need.
