Hardness Of Heart

Contributed by sinned on Thursday, 31st March 2005 @ 08:52:58 PM in AEST
Topic: AmericanTragedy

Dedicated to

Michael Shiavo

You held a life in your hand
Innuendos and hearsay
Seven hundred thousand dollars
Insurance monies at your command

Money to care for a comatose wife
Her parents could not afford the service of expensive lawyers
Hearsay nothing in writing How to terminate a life

Go before an unelected appointed Judge
This a flaw and needs to be looked into
Look around find a jude that shares your view
Not much harder than making fudge

Give me a child and he is mine for life
Some know not what they do or don't care
Gardianship could have been handed over
You are now free to take a new wife

Is your conscience clear
The author of life knows your mind and your soul
I have seen a heart turn to stone
Now laws must be remade--made just
would hate to see this story mirrored

Sinned

This is a great poem. The story of Terry Shiavo is one of the most heart touching stories. My belief is that no one has the right to determine whether a human being should live or die, He should be so ashamed of himself, unfortunatly he isnt. I give her family my prayers.
Great write.
GODBLESS
