Fate

Contributed by x0x_lorlor on Wednesday, 30th March 2005 @ 11:55:26 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Fate
Tears streamed down her face
As she tried hard not to cry
Her heart slowly shattered
As she looked deep into his eyes

The hurt was unbearable
The pain she could not hide
The secluded feelings
Buried deep inside

Reminiscing the day
The day that she would never forget
Along the path of fate
Came two lovers that met

They were destined for each other
They felt it in their hearts
It was true love
They knew it from the start

The first page was written
Their love story was born
Never wishing to end
A relationship was formed

But as time passed
Fate let them slip apart
The life they once knew
Had vanished in the dark

The promises of devotion
Became nothing but lies
Slowly like a rose
Their love began to die

As she now stands still, motionless
Still reminiscing the very day it had all begun
When he first walked into her life
And thought she had found her special one
