If I Grew In Your Garden, Would you Water Me?

If I grew in your garden
Would you water me?
If I begged your pardon
Would you forgive me?
If I were to sell my heart
Would you pay the price?
If we were to ever part
Would my love always suffice?
If you could fly to the moon
Would you take me along?
If I answered too soon
Would you love me in a song?
If I had regrets
Would you show me compassion?
If we never met
Would I still be in fashion?
If the sun did a little dance
Would you hold its hand?
If you gave me another chance
Would we take long walks in the sand?
If I was forever true
Would you be too?
If I were blue
What would you do?
Would you answer my question-
With only truth, love and dedication..

The title was just eye catching. My first thoughts were you know that title would make for a GREAT children's story.
Then I read your poem and I thought it was...
WONDERFUL!
