A Love Poem (Sorta-Kinda)

Contributed by jyssvw on Wednesday, 30th March 2005 @ 09:53:21 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Keep nodding your head
Yeh just like that,
Up and down-
A motionless opposition to sound

Feel that drum beat in your soul
Improvised musical serenity
Let it flow in your blood
Let it take you away

Now your feet,
Untangle their tension
Let them hang in the balance-
Of the dance you create tonight

Feel the floor open beneath you
Let it swallow you whole
Don’t fight gravity, its no use
Just come along

Sway like the gentle ocean wave
Majestically side to side
Let your spirit escape its owner
Find the harmony, seize control

And as the final synapse fires long
And you have transcended the forlorn
Shut your eyes, and breathe in hard

Those are my fingers ,
Walking up your back -
That is my hand rummaging
Through your long brown hair

Turn your head towards the moon
Whose reflection creeps throughout the room
And finally feel my lips kissing yours
Is this song over?
Can this be the final verse?
