Seconds before the Flood

I'm feeling this time silenced,
numb and cold,
and the prickling in my fingers
tells me
a flood is coming.
Deep inside,
a rolling quake,
an echo of
madness screams
a bloody shrill
as I sit and wonder when
the waters will rise.

great peom i like it its depressing but i like depressing things ya know
