When I think of you…
Both night and day.
You're in my dreams…
I see your face… and...

I wish…
You were right here next to me… my love
And all my loneliness
Would simply fade away
Into the blackness of the night
As we would turn out the light.

I wish…
You could feel…
All the love in my heart for you.
It is so real… not imagined… so true.
How I long to hold you tight
And give you all my love tonight.

I wish…
You could see…
How beautiful… you really are to me.
How your eyes…
They sparkle and shine…
In the glow of love’s pale moonlight.

I wish…
You could feel…
My hands caressing your face
As my fingertips trace your rosy red lips.
When I gaze upon your photograph
The whole world seems to tip.

I wish…
You could see…
Deep down inside of me…
Like a captured memory
This love that is waiting there… just for you.

I wish…
You could feel…
Me… holding you tight…
Enfolding you in my arms of love tonight.

I wish…
For things to be…
This way…
Between you and me... 'cause...
