Hidden in the darkness, astray in the night
As I watch you run away with fright
The laughter gets louder, until it's no longer a sound
I am the shadow of the shadow I can't be found
I watch every move you make, everything you do
No eating, no sleeping, my only worry is you
I watch you 24/7 even when you sleep
It's over, nothing you can do will help, your in too deep
Everywhere you go I am there, no place to hide
I hear everything you say, there's no one in which you can confide
No secrets with me, it's how the cards are delt
I can tell every thought you think and every emotion that is felt
Every language you try to speak, I'll still understand
Since you were born, through your whole life, your grasped in my hand
To escape from me try as hard as you might
It's impossible, no matter how hard you fight
Will you every realize this battle can't be won
Your life is mine, there's no seperation, we are one
I control your whole life, I am you, you are me
I am your coinscience and from me you will never be free

| It almost sounds as if the conscience is a bad thing by this poem. Nonetheless this is a good write. |

I really enjoyed your poem...at first it seemed creepy but then when I figured out what it was I thought it was great! Super job! Thanks for sharing.
