Suicide

Tears filled her eyes as heartache her soul.
Thoughts filled her mind that've never been told.
The cheating and lying has gotten too old.
And now this young girl faces the truth that's so cold.
On the phone with the man who's so unaware
Of the suicidal burden she'll soon make him bear.
He's still caught up in her story, too angry to care.
In a flash she'd take it back if she were still there.
He's yelling and screaming, still can't believe this.
She ruined it all, with only one kiss.
Tears rolled down her cheeks, the knife neared her wrist.
"The world will be better, I will not be missed."
The damage was done, no turning away.
"You'll find someone better - it's the only way.
I'm sorry - I love you - that's all I can say."
Then slowly and quietly she faded away.
