Searching for the perfect love
that I cannot find.
Into another's arms I fall clumsily.
Never feeling quite right,
it's only an illusion.
I wade through the salty waters that
lay before me.
Standing on the sands clothed in sorrow.
I scream at the deep blue seas,
daring the waves to
challenge me.
Help me find the heart that
will always be mine.
Take me to the place where
I can finally
rest.
Let me walk to the one waiting for me.
I search for tranquility through heartache.
I'm searching for something I may
never find.
I'm searching for you.
