A tortured soul can not live & breathe,
But die over & over & each time grieve,
Only so many times can it recover from pain,
With one day cracking under all the strain.
One tear turns into a sea of emotion,
Running over your heart like a locomotion,
Leaving it to die with no-one to care,
Killing it inside stripping it bare.
My soul screams long into the night,
But only does darkness answer its plight,
Touching it with dead & icy fingers,
Leaving by its side a black shadow that lingers.
A veil of pure unhappiness is left at my feet,
Making the devils evil plans complete,
The shadows come alive in my soul,
Devouring me watching me as I unfold.
Inside me is the dust of a broken girl,
One who’s been forgotten by the world,
Left to rot with her soul dying,
Left to die with no-one to see her crying.

You always seem to be able to find new ways and word combinations of just exposing what ever it is you are feeling or seeing ... another incredible write my Dear ...

| I know the feeling, "Dreams die long before we watch them turn into dust in our hands" But without them we become caloused stones with nothing but the memory of our pain. It took alot to write this getting in touch and moving on is very hard to do. Thanks for a great getting in touch poem. |

Oh, ma cheri pixie... My heart cries out to you, hoping you will hear, and maybe find hope within it... I am so dreadfully sorry about this pain you seem to always be feeling inside... Such a precious soul does not deserve this ruthless sorrow and anguish. I am glad you have released your agony on paper, rather than on yourself... that is most important. Exquisite piece, filled with raw emotion, and a shrill cry of despair.. Douce pixie, you have many friends here that will do anything for you. I am just a PM away if you ever wish to talk. Pix this is an outstanding very well portrayed piece of poetry that touches the depths of ones soul. You can feel ur pain in every word.
