A cracked and broken halo, around your neck its tied
Your suspended from a pedestal, an angel in disguise

But the light is destined to shun, in the darkness you’ll stay
Your suspended from a pedestal, degraded in every way

Feathers falling from your wings, dropping from the sky
Your suspended from a pedestal, cant cut down to fly

How can I reach you up there, its not been like this before
Your suspended from a pedestal, and I’m down her upon the floor

Grab the blade and take a breathe, cut the rope and watch you fall
Now you’ll never be above me, no longer suspended from your pedestal
