I just want it all to end,
Depression ***** off you’re not my friend,
You make me suffer & you laugh,
Over & over I feel your wrath.
If you’re punishing me what for?
Long have I been your lonely whore,
Dying down here sobbing out my heart,
Please don’t pull my life apart.
I have a man who loves me so,
Never from my side do I want him to go,
But my depression you are pushing him away,
Making my life ever miserable & grey.
Are you that jealous you won’t allow me love?
Daily punching me with your iron glove,
Never have I had something like this,
You are spoiling it with your poisoned kiss.
Please I just want it all to finally stop,
Before my sanity goes pop,
Before I lose what I love the most,
Before my love turns into the past or a ghost.
You see me down so my heart you kick,
On my mind you play such tricks,
You dangle happiness right in my face,
Then cast me deep down into your dark, dark place.

wow amazing job... i too have felt this way... and my depression pushed away the people i loved most and i lost them... its not a good feeling and i can totally relate

I love this poem, thought liking it seems wrong, somehow.

Wonderfully written, with good flow and rhyme. The message is very sad, dealing with the fear of loss. I think the key is to realize you deserve to be loved and happy. It is ok not to be happy all the time, as that is not possible; but it need not be either or where you envision all good or all bad. Rather, our moods fluctuate; and that's the important thing to remember.

Pix depression is an evil sinister that eats away at ones brain. Hang tuff friend for I know exactly the effects depression can have on one. An outstanding piece of poetry that portrays ones struggle to over power depression and live a normal life. Well done Pixie another absolutely brillant write from u.
