  Social

to a friend

Contributed by graci on Wednesday, 30th March 2005 @ 04:44:42 AM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

for the tears and laughter

for the pains and joy

for the secret of happiness

for making me feel blessed

for the shoulder to cry on

for the endless advises

for the senseless whispers

for the depth of silence

for opening my eyes to the magic of the world

and warming me whenever I feel cold

I owe this to you my dearest and faithful friend

I’ll forever be with you-

That’s a promise I won’t bend.

This poem seems heartfelt without too much sappy emotion.
It clearly shows that anyone would be lucky to have a friend like you. I also enjoy writing about friendships.
I would appreciate you comments on one of mine.

:-) Nicely strung together. I think I'll take you up on your suggestion.
