untitled for now

Topic: self-harmpoetry

Here in my hand I hold the blade
The very blade that I will use to end my life
Alive I am useless and unwanted
Thoughts of death consume my mind
Attempting to stay calm by holding my breath
The knife shaking uncontrollably
Its so cold as I raise my arm
I've felt nothing but pain in this world
Remembering the past before I go
I close my eyes to keep in the tears
My hands in fist to block out my fears
Only one quick motion and it all ends
Ill never have to hurt myself ever again
As I bringing the blade down, piercing my skin
Ready to forget all the pain I am in
I see again the many dark scars
And through my watery eyes it looks like an art
Fading proof the past
My heart is bleeding and soul is scared
Send me an angel so I can rest in peace
And let me close my eyes to finally sleep
My knees give out under me
My cold body falls slowly
And no one is there to hear my final scream
And now my death will surely redeem
My bloody wrists and bruised hands hit the floor
And now, like a dream, I'm not alive anymore

Very sad but I pray this is only a write.
We all have sadness and think about death but life is worth living. U wern't born into this world by accident. god is the giver and taker of life.
huggs, prayers,
emy

Poem is full of sorrow and pain. I think sharing your pain with us is a good way of coping; and I hope you keep reaching out rather then striking out against yourself. Pain does heal in t ime

So remember, you are worth the effort

Will
