I don’t breathe.
I don’t need air.
I don’t eat.
I’m never hungry for food.
I don’t sleep.
I’m never tired.
All I need is to be held
To be hugged
To be loved.
So I sit and wait.
I wait for a person to love me.
The person that doesn’t come.
I sit and wait.
And the more I’m alone,
The more I feel pain.
The pain of rejection.
So you can break me, and I’d still love you.
It wouldn’t matter.
I’m already broken.
