We wait in our cradles
Pleasing to our desires
behind an outside world
shielded from the fires
Let us find the way
battles of love and fear await us
in the dark of the day
their stark but forgiven lives
hunger for answers
the answers we withold
we are growing scarce
-the restless and the bold
why wait for hope tomorrow
when the day is at our bedside
waking up to compliancy
still knowing, we hide
too pretentious
to help our fellow man
to share of the scars
he bears on his hands
who are we to hold
the love he shed upon us
who are we to know
of his glory and wondrous
selfless love
who are we?
who are we?
lets break the secrecy
