This train had stopped on the tracks
Now it's speeding so fast
The only thing that could stop it, is a crash
Let's try not to derail this
I took the pill of hope from your hand
Only to find you had poisoned me
And I found myself
Lying dying on the floor next to you
*Chorus* So I've come back to you
I thought you'd be enough
To fill this void
Of abandonment, of isolation, of hatred
But this precipice is standing over
A great crag of
Emptiness
Now I unearth the daisies
From beneath the dying leaves
And a child of nature is borne to me
Now I feel the wind whip around my face
And I get the feel of sheer disgrace
As bold nostalgia fills my plate
A wisp of a time adorned with pleasure
The brilliant decay of logic in measure
*Chorus*
