On october 4th 1985 I met the very first man in my life,
He loved me he played with me and he tucked me in at night,
And when I was scared he told me it would all be alright,
On septmeber 11th 1994 He got hurt on a dark lonely road,
And although he was never the same........
He still loved me and played with me and tucked me in at night,
And when I was scared he told me it would be alright,
On february 5th 2002 he was put in the hospital,
And as the days passed the sicker he grew,
I would go up there and visit him and i stayed by his side,
Because he still loved me and played with me,
But I tucked him in at night,
And when i would get scared he told me it will be alright,
On february 14th 2002 I lost that man that i once knew,
The man that loved me and played with me and tucked me in at night,
It was then at that moment I had to teach myself that everything would be alright.

Beautifully done--This is a wonderful tribute to your Dad.
I'm sure he is with God in heaven so whenever you pray talk to him.Your Dad will heard and perhaps take your patitions before Jesus and pray with you.
Believe in the communion of saints--that starts on earth as family, friends, and strangers--whenever they pass how muc more power des or God give them to watch over and help us ?
P.S. Say hi to your Lovely Daddy for me. :)

Sinned

I think your father would be proud of the eulogy you wrote for him. It is the last statement and a testiment of love, devotion and a reminder that he contributed to the making of who you are.

The one's who pass do live on inside of us--thats why we have memories.

I'm very moved by your write and my condolescences in regards to your loss.

Kie
