These letters from you
Stare at me.
I try not to look back,
But I just can't stop it.
These letters on the page,
Not legible through pouring tears,
I know what they say.
I don't have to read them,
I've already read them a dozen times.
Each time,
With a new meaning.
One that always hurts.
I look up,
Everything is blurred.
I close my eyes,
But all I see is you.
The memories are haunting.
I wish I could set them free.
I want to be renewed.
