Dawn

Contributed by Rumplestilskin on Tuesday, 29th March 2005 @ 05:08:58 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Fleeting shadows writhing in the symphony of the dawn
Souls singing to the waking of the sun
Morning has come to the meadows chill
Her warm voice calling in the cool of the still
Gazing green sentinels garbed in glittering dew
Flowers shedding tears with the passing of the moon
Echos of the elusive evanesce in the air
As birds launch off with the singing of a prayer
Beauty unsurpassed by mere illusion
The painted picture of pure perfection

a rather inspiring piece.
you have captured a world complete with miniscule detail. i am very fond of such work...detail is ever so important. your words are lucid and vivid, utilising imagery to its full potential. your expression is truly artistic. you have exploited personification to its finest extent. i think you needn't an ending...as you already have one....

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
