Maniac On The Street

Contributed by Live2Die on Monday, 28th March 2005 @ 05:26:19 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

The world surrounding
Is falling apart
Piece, by little piece.
Your sitting on the sidelines
Watching it happen.

Maniac on the street
Laughing hysterically
You pulled the trigger
That started it all.

Manic on the street
You shot a man,
Who’s wife shot another.
You started this killing frenzy
You have no wish to end it.

Maniac on the street
Blood is pouring
Down your window
You wipe it off,
And throw away the rag.

Maniac on the street
You step out the door
And stand there.
Every bullet pointed your way
Is dodged, or misses.

Maniac on the street
You begin walking
Suddenly you realize
You’re loving this,
But you no longer wish
To stay alive.

Maniac on the street
Quickly shot down
By the little boy
Of the man who was killed
To begin the end.
