I am your mommy, all filled with love.
God sent you to me from way up above.
I made a promise to Him and signed on the “X”.
I dated the contract and swore to do my best.
Now, I promise to you, I’ll strive to be number one.
I will love you with the purest of love until my job is done.
You are a loan to me with no interest or fees.
When you are grown I’ll bend to pray on my knees;
I’ll thank God for loaning you to me,
And pray He will help you be the best you can be.

| Thank you for your comment!!! I showed it to my girls and they liked it...They are so sweet!!!! I have a binder all my work goes into including the stuff from when I was a teenager. The girls love reading them to their friends. Thank you again....I am off to read some of your writes!!!! |
