A Easter for My Mother

Contributed by Whisper on Monday, 28th March 2005 @ 11:24:20 AM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

A joyous gathering
A Family treat
Its Easter Time
In Our Home and the Gatherings on
We all remember what our faith is celebrating
Ours hearts are quietly heavy with the thoughts of such pain and suffering
for the one who died for our sins
But He whom we believe He Arose from the Dead.

Our childrens laughter mirror or own
as they run and play
They have No idea of what it truly means
The cruelty that was inflicted upon our Lord so long ago
Now Scientist are making the faith questionable
And for now its perhap debatable anyway.

But the family comes to together their Faith united on this Traditional Holiday.
How Lucky I feel
So blessed
That when We gather and eat I know Moms Up there smiling so glad
we've continued in the old ways .
The only way I know
Easter ,Christmas it Matters not the occassion
Its the coming together of family and friends .
