You have this way about you
That makes me get so mad.
I am afraid to tell you this,
It just makes me hurt so bad.
You tell me that you really care,
I wonder if it's true.
Then when I start to believe it,
Something again makes me blue.
You are so sweet and nice to me
When we aren't face to face.
Then when I see you in person,
It seems I am competing in a losing race.
You make me feel as if I'm competing
To win my way in your heart.
Then when I see you with other girls,
I'm right back at start.
You make me want to love you,
I want to oh so much.
Rumors tell me I am a fool,
But then I feel your touch.
I'll hang on until the next day,
When I want you twice as much
And only get pushed away.

| It's not a good sign if i a guy isn't himself around u, and just acts differently around u compared to other people. You deserve a better person. That's a great poem though. I can feel your emotion in the poem... Jenny |
