Songs of the Heart

Contributed by xtcslilangel on Monday, 28th March 2005 @ 02:01:46 AM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

Sing me a song of love,
Of passion that rules the heart.
Sing to me of everything
You've known since the start.
Sing to me of tomorrow
And all it holds in store.
Sing of the days that follow,
Of fairy lands and lore.
Sing to me of promises,
Of dreams that fill your mind.
Sing to me of wonders
And all the things we'll find.
Sing to me of magic
And things we've yet to see.
Sing to me of everything
That fills your heart with glee.
If you will not sing to me,
As some tend to do,
If you will not sing to me,
Then I will sing to you.
I'll sing to you of wonders,
Of magic and of dreams.
I'll sing to you of princes,
Of fairy kings and queens.
I'll sing to you of all my love
And all it makes me feel.
I'll sing to you of fantasy
And everything that's real.
I'll sing to you of sorrow,
Of weeping and of pain.
I'll sing to you of pleasures
And all we've yet to gain.
I'll sing to you of dragons,
The masters of the skies.
I'll sing to you of all my heart
And with you, how it flies.
When my voice is ragged
And when my throat is soar,
You'll wrap your arms around me
And I will sing no more.
