My Mirror

Contributed by stew on Sunday, 27th March 2005 @ 09:51:13 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I'm looking in my mirror
Trying to figure out what I see
But the light has blinded my reflection
So I see nothing of me.

I only sense the darkness in my heart
And evil tearing at my soul
I don't believe in happiness
So I guess this is my toll.

I sense the hatred all around me
It cuts deep within my heart
Trying to get out of the hole
Tearing me apart.

As the light blinds my reflection
I look closer only to see fear
Along with depression and sadness
That makes me shed all these tears.

My body is full of pain
For this pain has been so near
As I hold this thing in front of me
This is what I see in my mirror.

A masterpeice as I think we all can relate.
Life is full of pain at times but when it's good then it's really good.
Hang tuff, my friend.

"I'm looking in my mirror

Reflections can be tricky, we look only to see what we don't want, other times we see exactly what we want but push it aside because we don't beleive in it. Great write.
