POETS RIDDLE
Lamplight’s ghosted all was well,
Tamed air robed my face as night fell.
Gods altar came out stars thus shine,
Moons mantled face seemed locked in time.
I seek the treasure in the jeweled skies,
My poet’s heart clamors out and cries.
Wreathed by stars a sacred light,
My odorous heart locks in my plight.
For inspiration is that I seek,
Under the heavens creative juices weep.
As they weep digits scribble,
Unlocking the art of the poet’s riddle.
