Worries

Like many a fitful storm
They chill my mind
In my quest for warmth
I'll be denied a find
A cache of treasure
With patience the key
Each storm will measure
What I'm able to be
But I don't yet see
I've been locked out
Of stress free days
That hidden cache
Has in many ways
Helped me find its key
Searching for riches you see
Pulled patience out of me
I should have known
That, acting calm
It'd open on its own
When I sang to it a song
And then in silky voice
It kindly offered me a choice
To, or not to, convince
My mind that worry lies
Remebering, I use patience since
I did, then worry died
I unlocked common sense
And live forever in present tense
