You’re the best friend anyone would ask for
You know how to cheer me up
I’ve never had a friend like you before
I’d fill up my happiness in a cup
I want to help you through your troubles
You deserve a friend like me
To catch you if you fumble
I’d help to keep you off the floor, it’s meant to be
I can trust you with all my secrets
You keep your comments so honest
I never want to see you fret
I would show you the light within a forest
Please enjoy life for it can be short
I want you to be happy
For protection, I’d set you up a fort
I hope to never become snappy
I believe that you should treat people the way
That you’d like to be treated
I mean everything I have to say
I’d let you do whatever you feel is needed
