Lost Within

A burning candle,
A screaming wind.
A frozen torch,
Lost within.

An acid rain,
And rancid death.
A fiery pain,
An unspoken depth.

A boiling hatred,
A mellow heart,
A person once loved,
Found torn apart.

A bloodied love,
A sober lie.
Can cause a trust,
So frail to die.

A sinful longing,
A heartfelt rage.
An unwanted belonging,
A forsaken age.

A twisted memory,
A blackened sky.
A newborn child,
Ready to die.

A poisoned song,
Unspoken thoughts.
A second too long,
I watch as his body rots.

A quiet stress,
A worshipped sin.
A heart to rest,
Lost within.

beautiful...wonderful job...great job at forum and rhyming...
some very good parts in this...love the title...overall, well written...keep it up...
