.-.drowning insecurities.-.

Contributed by guts_n_glitter on Sunday, 27th March 2005 @ 07:53:20 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Staring at the ripples of a newly splashed puddle
the rain always hid my tears
It was a substitute for when you kissed them away
Don’t leave
Done leave me behind
Its been so long
You’ve left me before we started our novel
Left me with no-one to hold
Was questionable if you ever was there
Or maybe it was me who lived in your shadow
The rain cloud is now my sunshine
Drowning insecurities
And hiding me in a water surrounded bubble
Where have you gone?
Where are you going without me?
Please can I have more time
Only huddled with your body can I be safe
I don’t care who ends up getting hurt
I’m already ripped to shreds by pain
Answer me this
Will it ever happen?
Am I living an empty dream?
I cant feel the rain anymore
Oblivious to anything but you
Come back soon

a sad, but very well portrayed piece of poetry.
Well done and thanks for sharing it.
Hugs,

Please can I have more time
What we’ve had is not enough.
Don’t leave
I fear that I can’t be that tough.
The rain cloud is now my sunshine
But, I remember better days.
Am I living an empty dream?
Where I’m the only one who pays?
Where have you gone?
I can’t find you any more.
I don’t care who ends up getting hurt
I’m on this side of the door!
Oblivious to anything but you
Why must I be on my own?
I cant feel the rain anymore
Though it soaks me to the bone.
Its been so long
I’ve lost my way;
Don’t leave me behind
To be tossed away.
come back soon . . .
IT’S YESTERDAY!

I enjoy reading the written feelings transferred from your heart to your verse.
