This is Our Fairy Tale

Contributed by Doriens_Picture on Sunday, 27th March 2005 @ 12:36:40 AM in AEST
Topic: happypoetry

A dragon with a world in a crystal ball
The Fairy watches and falls in love
For she sees herself in glass and see that she
Is his world

This is our fairy tale

I can’t imagine life not being in love with you
I don’t ever want to coz it won’t be life
I would just exist

You cause me to breath
My heart beats now only for you
With out you I would fall apart

For this is our fairy tale

I want to wrap you in my wings
I want to be your shelter
As you are mine
My bride

Every time I think that you are perfect and that
Things could not be better
I find another reason to find you more
Than perfect
At least more than perfect for me

I would find you so
Even if you did not love me
For you are an angel
I see your wings
And you give me mine
The world you have given me is my halo
And one day I will give you yours

For this is our Fairy tale

And in this fairy tale
Like many before
Beauty loves the beast
Only in this one
I won’t become a prince
But you will be my queen

And we will live happily ever after

A teddy bear and scented candle next to her bed, always there, always reminding her that you care. Beautiful write.

A beautifully well expressed piece of poetry. So heart warming and such a pleasant write.
A job well done.
