''I Would...''

Contributed by Smooth on Thursday, 19th December 2002 @ 09:20:00 AM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

If I could soar with Angel's wings, Across the pristine sky,
Over the fields and valleys, Above the mountains high,
I would cross the distance, To hold you through the night,
I would heal your pain and heartache, With the peace of God's own light.

I would fill your heart with gladness, And take away your fear,
I would fill your soul with boundless joy, And wipe away each tear.
I would give u strength to face the trials,That sometimes come your way
I would give you faith and hope, To greet a brand new day.

Though I am not an Angel, I know they are around,
They watch us every moment, And never make a sound.
Yes I believe in Angels, And I know their love is true,
For the messangers of heaven, Gave me a loving friend like you.

Smooth
