All they did was walk over us--
You never talked to me
Content to shut me up
Throw me out
It’s been so long now
Since I had an honest thought
And no I don’t understand.
I’m talking to myself
Narcissist and enjoying every minute of it
Maybe it’s time to vanish my pain--
You may want me here
But you don’t really know me
Forget what you thought of me
I'll Fight you off and hold you back
Never understand just why.

haha, I liked this one. Very nice. I especially like the lines:

Narcissist and enjoying every minute of it
People say "narcissist" like it's a bad word, but..honestly, can you really be excessively interested in yourself? Somehow, I don't think so. While your interactions with others certainly define a part of yourself..I don't think anyone can argue that you define your own life. Certainly one's self is warranted much attention in the name of understanding.
Keep on looking. Sometimes, it's the only place that makes sense. Cheers.. |
