Merit & Flair: Sister Slaves

Contributed by Crimson_Rose on Friday, 25th March 2005 @ 06:40:57 PM in AEST
Topic: fictional

My sister Flair and I, never knew our original parents
We were abandoned, so we later found out
No one wanted us, so we were sent off to auction
A sickening, slave auction
Where we were being fought over and then sold

The slave auction was always something we dreaded
We have been torn between masters for years
Flair is the older sister, at the age of seventeen
While me, Merit, the younger one, being fifteen
So now we have to face yet another master

I looked to my sister Merit,
She looked plagued by fright
Years we have been torn between masters & mistresses
Our new owner, Wolfram, told us,
That were would be staying with him

Honestly, did that arrogant man,
Think were would be staying forever?
Well he was sorely mistaken
I’m the stronger of us, and the oldest,
I won’t let them hurt my sister; she’s all I have

The Winterbourne estate, I say, was quite breathtaking
To bad Merit wasn’t awake to see it,
She was quietly resting, with her head on my shoulder
I had noticed the black and brown horses came to a stop
And out I stepped, carrying my sister along

When I had awoken from my blissful nap,
My surrounding soon came into great view
Flair, I saw over by the tall, opened window
The room I see, was more luxurious than any other place we stayed
I guess in this house nothing can be ruined

There were two solid oak four-poster beds,
With soft, dark blue cotton sheets with intricate flower designs
A large, furnished dresser was pushed in the corner for us
Nice, hardwood floors were noticeably buffed
In front of the brick fireplace was a blue velvet sofa

Our first night there began with the serving of dinner
Flair was to serve the wine, and set out the glasses
The silverware I set out, but there wasn’t much, only for one person
I found it quite ridiculous for one, non-friendly man to have a table with sixty chairs
Soon Wolfram came through the double doors

He seemed satisfied, Merit I were masters of our craft
We pulled out the chair for him and he pleasingly sat down
The wine was first, as I poured it in his glass, he started eyeing me
I glared daggers at him and pulled my dress up,
Right to my neck, so he wouldn’t be staring down sacred places

As the food was brought out,
The delicious smell tugged at my nostrils
Food, from places all over filled every inch of the table
I was tempted to take a little piece,
But Wolfram kept his sharp, hazel eyes on me

We only got the scraps that were left over,
Merit was quite hungry as she devoured down a half eaten chicken leg
I laughed slightly, but couldn’t help laughing to myself,
As I kept stuffing fruit into my mouth
All the food that was washed down by that tasty, red wine

At last, it was time to sleep,
Flair and I were quite tired ourselves
We surrendered to our comfortable beds,
And we slept through the long night
Our first day at Winterbourne estate, was a tiring one
