MY LITTLE FORGOTTEN FRIEND

I was walking from school
One night
and you were there
by my side

playing your small
flute
with the waves of
the tide

And we said goodbye
while made our vow

to never forget
eachother

But the next day along
while you sang your song
i had forgotten all about you
you tried to tell me

but your voice was too
short
because your
my little forgetten friend
and i never remembered
to care for.
