Trapped here in the net
for God knows how long
I never should have made that bet

I was sinking futher into debt
I can hear the toll of a gong
Trapped here in this net

Here comes the rain-I am going getting wet
I still have a sense of right and wrong
I never should have made that bet

I am glad she didn't come along
I'm left with no regret
Trapped here in this net

My mind is set
and the heart is strong
I never should have made that bet

Soon I will be on a jet
back to where I belong
Trapped here in this net
I never should have made that bet
