Today my heart will be broken

Like it's never been before

For today I'll decide to stay

Or I'll walk out of the door

My poor heart is slowly dying

Not quite sure of what to do

My head thinks it knows the answer

Simply walk away from you

My heart is the one who's losing

This battle I fight each day

For it has known no greater love

It wants me to find a way

Your past has come back to haunt us

I can see it in your eyes

You've been hurt so badly before

Scarred from hurt, deceit and lies

Lost in a world of confusion

The anguish I cant disguise

I’m not the one who has hurt you

My heart whispers ……….as it dies
