What would you say

Contributed by FireStorm12 on Thursday, 19th December 2002 @ 04:20:00 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

What would you say,
If I gave to you my heart.
Would you cherish it always,
Or perhaps just rip it apart.

Would it make you happy,
If my soul and yours where one.
Would we be together forever,
Or would we come undone.

How would it make you feel,
If I took your hand in mine.
Would you pull away from me,
Or take it as a sign.

Could you ever believe,
In true love at first sight.
I’m not really sure,
But I think that you might.

Could you ever imagine,
That I would be your destiny.
Can you look into my eyes,
And see how much I love thee.

Would your knees get weak,
If I took you in my arms.
I must admit to you my dear,
I cannot resist your charms.

How would it make you feel,
To spend your life with me.
Being your devoted man,
Is all I long to be.

I will always make you happy,
Never letting you feel blue.
Look deep into this heart of mine,
And you’ll see my feelings are true.

What would you say to me,
If I said we are soul mates.
Would you finally realize,
That together we are great.

So put your trust in me,
And you will always feel secure.
Nothing could ever change my love,
Together we will endure.
