Etch the blade deeper,
carve up my skin.
Release all the reveries,
that lay locked within.
Watch the rivers run freely,
as you call out my name.
Completely oblivious,
to the forthcoming pain.
I can't help but smile,
as chills run down my spine.
Life's fading slowly,
no intervention divine.
Faintly you laugh,
you grasp for my hand.
Don't even bother,
I'm already dead.
