I hear your name
I picture your face
I long to embrace your delicate skeletal frame
Your rhythmic walk has grace
I hear your voice
I’m drawn in your dazzling eyes
Is when my insides rejoice
Whenever I see you, my heart flies
I can’t imagine life without you
You’ve shown me trust and compassion
My would tear in two
Without your passion
Your smile can brighten a room
Your laughter wakes the sun
They scare away the gloom
With you, I have the most fun
I forget my problems and worries
They’re drawn out into space
It feels my heart is soaring
As I examine your beautiful face
You’ve always been there for me
I’m glad to help you escape pain
I want to be with you for all eternity
I never want you to complain

| Hey everyone, thank you so much for the nice comments. i love hearing them! I just wanted to mention that i realize i accidently omitted a word from my poem. The word 'heart' is supposed to be in between the words 'my' and 'would' of my poem. My poem seems to make no sense without that word in there. ~*Jenny*~ |
