Just the thought makes me cry,
Ever to think our love could die,
To have all we went through all we shared,
Dashed in a heart beat as if never was it there.
You & I were created for one reason,
To make our love an ever lasting season,
Without you my whole world would be so dark,
Without my best friend my lover, my Mark.
Where there is me, there is always a you,
Together we are red, apart we are blue,
We are like two peas sat in our pod,
Holding hands together we plod.
We walk against the wind & the rain,
If I had no you all I’d feel was pain,
If you had no me to hold you at night,
Heartache would hold you & it would hold on tight.
Who would I have to make me smile?
Make my every breath so worthwhile,
Without you the universe would come crashing down,
I would be so alone with no-one around.
Who would be there to make me laugh?
Or give my back a wash in the bath,
Brush my hair when I need cheering up,
Tickle my belly as though I were a cute, little pup.
There are so many special things I would miss,
Not just all your cuddles or the nice way you kiss,
I would hate never again to see your beautiful face,
As from my heart & my soul you will never be erased.
