Everytime I see myself, I think of what could be
then I take a closer look , it's never what I see
Dreams and desires are so intense
Illusions have turned to common sense
Perspective with a balanced ground
reality screams yet I make no sound

Well the ending hits hard! I liked that.
No matter where we are in life, I wonder if we ever live up to our internal expectations? Let alone the expectations of others.
It is now something for me to ponder.

Illusions have turned to common sense"
