Cut my flesh
Cut it deep
Inside I scream
Outside blood seeps
Tears of anger
Burn my eyes
Under the clothes
A thousand secrets
You tell secrets
I tell lies
Hearing the truth
I start to cry
Open wounds
Pink bright scars
My dreams shattering
Inside your arms
And under my sheets
A thousand secrets.
Say I’m crazy
Call me a fool
Slam the door in my face
All your friends think
I'm uncool
I will slap on a smile
Behind it I frown
To you I tell
A thousand secrets.
Empty glass
Was never half full
All the years I listened
To you tell nothing but, bull!!
Darken my world
Make it black
Give your love to me
Or take it back
On this page I keep deep
A thousand secrets.
Craving to die
But, I won’t let go
Showing my bruises - black and blue
I am like this because of you
Raindrops of razors
Slice me until
Without end I'm hideous
To the world
I say a thousand secrets.
Give me a moment
To roll up my sleeves
I will reveal
Underneath my skin
Just what is hiding?
I will write down
On your bedroom wall
A thousand secrets.
